NXRSW RECAP: It's hard to believe that the season has come to an end. Congrats to the following athletes who ended the year with a season best; Katie Dupper, Mia Alaimo, Cody Jaramillo, Owen Whitney, Michael Vargas, Jackson West, Ben Riley, Jack D'Souza, Dylan Laity, Austin Duris, Josh McMillian, and Colter Thompson.
Looking back it was quite a season with the Boys winning both a League And Regional Championship as well as winning 3 Invitationals. This was the 7th time in our school's history that our Boys team placed in the top 5 at State. Despite all the injuries, our Girls team narrowly missed qualifying for the state championships for the 17th time in our schools 20 year history. Great job Jags on another excellent season.
Post Season Training: It is recommended that all athletes take two weeks off after the NXRSW race. This is a much needed and well deserved break, especially for those who have been training since early June. If you feel you need more than 2 weeks, reach out to Coach Davies regarding your plans. Starting December 5th, workouts will be posted under our distance training link. Most of your training will be on your own, or with a teammate, however we will have some organized team runs during December. That info will be posted next month.
2023 Rock Winter Track Camp: We will start our Winter Track Camp on January 9th when we return from Winter Break. Information regarding registration will be posted next week under our Track and Field page.
Happy Holidays Jags XC!
